MEET THE OWNERS

Welcome to Alpha-Lit Fort Myers - The original supplier of Light Up Marquee letters, numbers and symbols in Southwest Florida. My name is Keesha McKinney and from the moment I saw the Marquee on my Instagram feed I knew I had to be a part of this amazing business. It wasn’t until January 2024 that it became a reality when our vendor friends, aka “friendors,” handed Alpha-Lit over to me after moving back to their home state. It was a bittersweet moment for us both.

I’ve also been creating luxury balloon decor as the owner of Balloon Elevations since 2011. I could not do it all without the help of my supportive family and growing team. My amazing husband and lead pastor, Neal, helps with everything from loading & washing the van, organizing our storage unit, replacing light bulbs to popping balloons-when I let him. Our oldest son, Gavin, can often be seen on set ups, when he’s home from college, and late night pick ups since he is a night owl like me. Our youngest son, Chase, loads and unloads the van - with a little bribing sometimes. My other team members, Mandi, Pam, Kimberlee & Jonathan, help with set ups and picks from Port Charlotte all the way down to Naples and the islands in between.

At the heart of Alpha-Lit Fort Myers is a passion for transforming every event from an ordinary space into extraordinary memories and pictures that last a life-time. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, corporate event, or any other milestone, our Light Up Marquee letters, numbers and symbols add a touch of glamour and sophistication to every celebration. We love seeing the smiles on our client’s faces when we Light Up their special occasion like it's our own.
